She played a 'Bigfoot howl' through a speaker and got an 'insane' response

A primatologist recorded 'the howl of Bigfoot' in a forest in the US. See for yourself here:

Mireya Mayor ventured out at night with a speaker and blared out 'a Bigfoot howl' in the hope of hearing a return call - which is exactly what she got. Apparently.

As she headed into the forest, as part of the series Expedition Bigfoot, Mireya explained: "This is reportedly the best time of night to go hunting for Bigfoot.

"By me playing this supposed Bigfoot sound out there, that should elicit a response back, because I'm an intruder in its territory, and the territorial species will want to let you know that you're on their turf.

"So it could attack, which can be super dangerous."

She continued: "You're facing an animal that you know nothing about.

"There's no manual telling you that what you should do is stand still and hold your ground, or climb a tree, or run as fast as you can in the other direction.

"It's an unknown - but if we get a response, I'm going in after it."

Then the sound came.

Mireya said: "That was insane.

"I have no idea what that was, but it sounded like snippets of the Bigfoot recording I just played."

Yes, it did. Uncannily like it - I'm looking at you, Expedition Bigfoot producer.

Alas, she didn't manage to capture the beast on camera. But maybe she'd have a better chance if she headed to Cass River in Michigan.

In a YouTube video, a Bigfoot-like creature appears to run across it - and the footage has baffled 'experts'.

Investigator Kyle Shaw of Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization (RSMO) inspected the footage and has been left perplexed over whether the clip could be the real deal.

He confessed: "I'm not saying this is Bigfoot, and I'm not saying it isn't."

Well, that is helpful.

He continued: "This is obviously shot with a cell phone at 880×656 resolution. It's 30 frames per second. It isn't the greatest footage.

"It's all we have to go with so you be the judge on what you think it is. I don't know what it is."

Thanks for your help then, Kyle.
