Last week, Sex Education returned for its second season.

And while many of us were excited to see the return of Otis and the gang, fans were shocked when former Game of Thrones star Lino Facioli popped up.

Though his name might not actually mean that much to you, the British-Brazilian actor is best known for playing t**-suckling tearaway Robin Arryn in the hit series.

Now much older, Lino has hit out screens again, this time as Moordale High student Dex Thompson, a brainy teen who competes in the school quiz team alongside Maeve Wiley.

And it's safe to say that fans were pretty confused about their feelings towards the young actor.

One fan said: "The robin arryn guy... i can't decide if he's hot or not."

A second wrote: "LORD ROBIN ARRYN IS IN THE NEW SEASON OF SEX EDUCATION SLDJFJKSKDKJDJD."

A third said: "That guy from the quiz team in #SexEducation was bugging me man and THEN IT CLICKED...Robin Arryn...ROBIN ARRYN."

Another excited fan asked: "What is little Lord Robin Arryn doing in Moordale High?"

Now, despite the series having only just landed on the streaming site, the show's creator has revealed she's already started writing a third instalment.

These things take a while to get confirmed and signed off, but creator and writer Laurie Nunn is hopeful that we've got much more to come after series two.

He's come a long way since the tit-suckling brat in Game of Thrones.

Speaking to LADbible, Nunn said: "I've started writing series three, but that's just a very normal part of the process because we work on such tight schedule, and season three hasn't been green-lit yet or officially commissioned.

"We won't find out whether we get a series three until the end of January, so fingers crossed!"

Nunn also said she even has high hopes for a future for Sex Education beyond that tentative third series.

She continued: "I love writing these characters. It's such a big ensemble and I think the theme of the show - in terms of it being about sex and relationships - it really just offers up endless story opportunities.

"So I think the show definitely has legs if Netflix are nice enough to let me keep writing it and let Ben [Taylor] keep directing it!"

Sex Education season two is available to watch on Netflix now.
