Sky has cancelled Bulletproof, following allegations made against the show's lead, Noel Clarke.

A spokesperson for Sky said in a statement LADbible: "Sky will not be proceeding with any further series of Bulletproof."

According to Variety, production company Vertigo Films has also said it 'will not make any future series of Bulletproof'.

Clarke, 45, has been accused of groping, harassment and bullying after 20 women came forward to share their story with The Guardian.

Following the allegations, Clarke said he was 'seeking professional help', but 'vehemently denies' any sexual misconduct.

A statement to the PA news agency said: "I vehemently deny any sexual misconduct or criminal wrongdoing.

"Recent reports however have made it clear to me that some of my actions have affected people in ways I did not intend or realise.

"To those individuals, I am deeply sorry. I will be seeking professional help to educate myself and change for the better."

In the wake of the allegations, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) also suspended his membership, with a spokesperson saying in a statement: "In light of the allegations of serious misconduct regarding Noel Clarke in The Guardian this evening, BAFTA has taken the decision to suspend his membership and the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema award immediately and until further notice."
