Sky's Black Friday Deals Include 50% Off TV Packages
Sky has released its Black Friday offers to new and existing customers, with reductions of up to 50 percent off some packages.
We all know that TV and broadband don't come cheap so this is a great way to cut costs all round, but don't be fooled by set-up fees and different charges. Not that they should put you off, either.
On Sky's website, there's a Black Friday Mega Bundle on offer which includes every Sky Sports channel, over 1,000 movies, Sky box sets and Netflix as well as dedicated children's channels, all for the bargain price of £53.50 - instead of £85. The set-up fee will also set you back £20 for new customers (this could be more for existing customers).
Another deal on offer is the generic entertainment and broadband package, which offers more than 300 entertainment channels and average download speeds of 59Mb/s for £39, down from £59. There will be an additional set-up fee of £29.95.
You can also build your own Sky bundle which will enable you to qualify for 50 percent off every TV package. This will start from £22.
The entertainment, broadband, sports and cinema package might be more up your street - that will set you back £59.50 which used to cost £100.
You can also bag 30 percent off Broadband Superfast for £29 instead of £42 - saving you £13. Sky promises this will give you an enhanced service and reliability, and more.
If you really want to splash out you can opt for the Mega Bundle and broadband for £70.50 which was £122. This entitles you to blockbuster films and sports, Sky box sets and Netflix, channels for kids and internet with 59Mb/s.
Looking for some Christmas present inspiration away from TV and broadband deals? Sky has you covered when it comes to the iPhone 11, letting you save a whopping £180.
This deal offers the handset with unlimited streaming on Sky apps, 8GB data and unlimited calls and texts for just £36 a month. Boost your data allowance to 15GB and you'll be paying £44 per month. Note that this is for a phone with 64GB storage and the contract is for 24 months.
Alternatively, you can head over to uSwitch.com to get all the latest deals (including Black Friday offers) and compare TV and broadband bundles quickly and easily.
Dani Warner, broadband expert at uSwitch.com, told The Sun: "Sky is doing its best to turn Black Friday into Black Sky-day with an impressive 50 percent off its TV packages and additional discounts available on broadband.
"So if you were thinking of getting a Sky package, now is a great time to take the plunge, but make sure that you're happy signing up for an 18-month contract."
