Tara Reid has been in talks with producers to portray Tiger King's Carole Baskin.
The 44-year-old actor thinks she's well suited for the role of Joe Exotic's nemesis and - according to her people - she's being considered for the job.
According to Page Six, Reid's manager and business partner Philippe Ashfield explained: "We are in talks with the producers and she is being considered, that is all I can say at the moment as casting is on hold.
"Tara loves Tiger King and found the documentary extremely interesting. She feels she could get into the character of Carole Baskin very well... and she has a similar look to [Baskin]."
Currently there are a few Tiger King productions in the works, with talks of a series being created starring Nicolas Cage as Joe Exotic.
The eight-part show, which is to be made by Imagine Television Studios and CBS, is reported to be focusing on exploring how Joe Schreibvogel became the outlandish Joe Exotic.
The show is also thought to touch on his many efforts to keep his wildlife park open.
Presumably, that will include at least some discussion of Exotic's nemesis (and focus of an inordinately large part of his attention), the aforementioned Carole Baskin.
News of Cage's casting came around the same time as someone subbed in the 56-year-old actor for Joe Exotic in a Tiger King deepfake.
The YouTube video description reads: "After Netflix's Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, we now get to see Nicolas Cage as Joe Exotic.
"The new mini-series will be based on the Texas Monthly article 'Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild'."
Since the release of Tiger King on March 20 this year, Exotic has become something of a cult figure, despite currently being locked up in prison on a 22-year sentence for attempting to hire a killer to bump off Baskin.
