The Lizzie McGuire Reboot Is Bringing Back The Whole Family
People were pretty stoked when they found out that Lizzie McGuire was being rebooted by Disney for its streaming service.
Naturally, everyone was wondering if it was going to include OG star Hilary Duff and everyone was ecstatic when that was confirmed.
But now fans have been gifted with even bigger news: the whole family from the original show are returning for the reboot.
Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine, and Jake Thomas will join Hilary in the show, however we don't know exactly when it'll drop.
The family will team up with the show's original creator Terri Minksy, who has revealed the plot will be about Lizzie McGuire and how she's about to turn 30.
Disney+ Content and Marketing President Ricky Strauss said in a statement: "We are incredibly excited to bring back one of the most popular Disney Channel series of all time along with some beloved and familiar faces.

"With Terri [Minsky] at the helm and Hilary, Hallie, Robert, and Jake back after all these years, it's our honor to welcome the McGuire family into the Disney+ family."
Disney Channels Worldwide President Gary Marsh added: "Just like there is no Lizzie McGuire without Hilary Duff, there is no McGuire family without Hallie, Robert, and Jake.
"The original series holds a special place in the hearts of so many, and we can't wait to introduce fans, both old and new, to an older, wiser, yet still perfectly imperfect Lizzie."
Now, everyone will wait and see if Lizzie's on-screen pals Lalaine and Adam Lamberg, or on-screen enermies Ashlie Brillault and Clayton Snyder will be back as well.
