They always say when you work in television that you should never get children or animals in the spotlight - and the team from The Today Show found out why.
The Channel 9 programme was doing a segment about the rise of chickens as pets in Australia and host Deborah Knight thought it would be a grand idea to hold one.

Seems like a pretty harmless thing to do...right?
But it seemed like the bright lights and loads of attention caused the bird to go a bit haywire and it started flapping wildly while still in Deb's hands.
Poor Deb was just making sure that the hen didn't take off around the studio and cause further havoc but it just ended up making her and her co-host Tom Steinfort burst into laughter and tears.
"Get it off me!" Tom yelled as Deb tried to hold onto the brown hen. Deb replied: "She's attached to my arm!"
Thankfully the hen's fluttering died down and the hosts composed themselves, however it didn't stop people on social media going wild for the hilarious gaffe.

"I laughed so much I was crying," wrote one person.
"Love the laughter coming from the crew in the back!" said another.
A third added: "That was great, nice to laugh along with you."
Maybe the team behind The Today Show will think twice before they get another animal in to star in their show.
