The trailer for the next instalment of Tiger King has dropped and it'll be released on 17 November. Take a look here:

The clip begins with a quote from Joe Exotic saying: "When you think you've seen it all, you haven't quite seen it all."

We then hear a call from the prison where Joe Exotic was sentenced to 22 years behind bars in January 2020, in which he can be heard saying: "There's an innocent man in prison.

"Everybody from the zoo is out there making money, and I'm paying the price for every one of them people. If you give a damn, it's time to speak up."

Tiger King 2 will look into the lives of the people who featured in the first instalment of the show - remember the first season of Tiger King when we were all in lockdown and did not know what we were about to experience?

Announcing the return of Exotic and friends - well, not friends - Netflix said: "The global hit Tiger King, which attracted 64 million households in the first four weeks after its March 2020 premiere, will return to Netflix for more madness and mayhem."

Last year, Joe Exotic's husband (who is now seeking a divorce) confirmed that the star of the show would be back for more.

Dillon Passage shared the news on Good Morning Britain, where he also confirmed he had recorded footage for the second season.

He revealed: "I've done a little bit of filming for that [season 2]. I do not know the release date but it's going to be very interesting because it will tell a little bit of Joe's arrest and afterwards.

"I know there's going to be some phone call recordings of Joe that is going to be in it. There is no filming since he's incarcerated."

The official Twitter account for Exotic revealed earlier this month: "Showing the truth and will show you I'm sitting in prison, innocent, and this can happen to any one of you. After you watch it and see the truth, please stand up and be my voice."

Tiger King 2 will be released on Netflix on 17 November.
