Tom Hanks shocked us all when he dropped to the ground and did some push ups with a US army sergeant at the 92nd Annual Academy Awards.
What a better place to let off some steam and sweat than the Oscars red carpet, eh?
The 63-year-old actor, who lost out on the award for Best Supporting Actor after Brad Pitt took the win, decided to do a few reps in his tuxedo as a group of soldiers cheered them on.
But why did he do this? Well, PEOPLE reported that Hanks has a special relationship with the military after he was inducted as an honorary member of the US Army Rangers Hall of Fame for his portrayal of a captain in the beloved movie Saving Private Ryan.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "I must say that @tomhanks wins the PRE-OSCAR show! Push ups on the Red Carpet?!! YESSSS!!"
Another added: "@tomhanks You da man, just saw you doing some push ups with a soldier. Thank you for being awesome!!"
It seems Hanks' stunt paid off with fans and he's not the only person getting praise for his red carpet appearance.
That's right, Keanu Reeves was also admired after taking his mum as his date for Hollywood's night of nights. What a LAD.
Patricia Taylor looked stunning in a white suit and was the perfect yin to Reeves' yang in a traditional black tuxedo.
Keanu was dubbed 'son of the year' as people took to Twitter with someone writing: "Keanu Reeves taking his mum to the #Oscars because he's Keanu f**king Reeves".
Another commented: "Of course, Keanu Reeves took his mum, because he is the most wholesome man in ALL of Hollywood! I LOVE HIM!"
Reeves, 55, was recently spotted getting ready for filming The Matrix 4 with his co-stars in San Francisco.
Passers-by making their morning commute in the city last week were treated to the grizzled figure of Keanu Reeves as he began work on the next instalment of the sci-fi saga.
