Contestant On Netflix's Love Is Blind Feeds Wine To Dog Leaving Viewers Baffled

Fans of Netflix's new dating show Love is Blind were left in a frenzy by the latest crop of episodes after one of the contestants allowed her dog to red wine from her glass. You can watch the scene in question here:

For those of you who haven't seen the latest entry to the reality show genre, Love is Blind is a 10-part series that couples together singles who want to be loved for 'who they are, rather than what they look like'.

The contestants are shown speaking to potential partners, the twist being they don't get to see each other as they try to forge a connection. It's only when a marriage proposal is made that the happy couple come face-to-face - sort of similar to Married at First Sight.

While the unusual premise has viewers hooked, it's the scene in which contestant Jessica feeds booze to her pup that has really caused a stir.

It all started when the 34-year-old sat down to speak with her new fiancé, 24-year-old Mark, about the problems that could arise over their ten-year age gap.

After warning Mark that she doesn't want to be his mum, Jessica lowers her glass to the dog's mouth so she can take a few sips before continuing to drink from the glass. She whispered to Mark: "She [the dog] loves wine."

You can bet the internet had a lot to say about it.

One fan wrote on Twitter: "This is the most dynamic moment of TV I've seen in a long time - from Netflix's Love is Blind. A guy telling his fiancé, who he met the week before, that he's mentally stable while she feeds her dog wine and tells him that she's not his mom. So much to unwrap in ten seconds."

Another wrote: "Love is Blind is mad you know. This lady really shared her glass of wine with her dog and the guy didn't even blink." A third said: "I'm still scarred from when Jessica on Love is Blind shared her wine glass with her DOG and then continued drinking from it."

In case you're wondering, it's definitely not a good idea to feed wine to your doggo. As stated by Pets4Homes: "Alcohol is of course a poison, which has no benefits whatsoever for dogs, and can actually make them extremely ill."

Looks like the age gap isn't the only thing this couple's got to worry about.
