People obsessed with Netflix's Tiger King documentary series were gifted with an extra episode over the weekend.

Comedian Joel McHale hosted the after show, titled 'The Tiger King and I', and it featured interviews with some of the biggest names from the series, as they explained what life is like now since the show became a talking point across the internet.

There were some interesting revelations - however, none bigger than John Finlay's.

John is Joe Exotic's former husband, who left the big cat owner for another employee, with whom he has a child. He's since left that woman and is engaged to another.

In the new episode of the show, John had some interesting points to get across, but viewers could not believe how different he looked compared to the image he was sporting in the series.

For starters, he had a nice, new set of chompers, which he claims he had during the filming of the documentary, but it wasn't portrayed for some reason.

Next, he was actually wearing a t-shirt - people were fascinated with his more revealing outfits during the whole of the series, which showed off his interesting tattoos.

He's since claimed that the producers encouraged him to be shirtless, telling Variety that 'they kind of made it feel like I was the sexy one of the whole thing'.

Finlay has also grown a chin beard since the series has ended - we'll just leave at that.

Completing the new look, he has glasses on.

Finlay revealed that didn't like the way he was portrayed in the original Tiger King series.

Speaking to Joel McHale, John said about how he watched the show: "I actually watched it that night, and me and my fiancée both binge-watched it in seven hours.

"I had to know what was on it, and so did she. And we had to be kind of prepared to know what was gonna go on."

"I was portrayed as a drugged-out hillbilly, and that was not me then. At that time, I was four to five years clean."

John also said there was quite a bit of romping going around at the G.W. Zoo, with loads of employees hooking up here and there. He said the park created a lot of relationships and a lot of breakups.

He's now advertising himself as a motivational speaker on social media and seems like he's enjoying his newfound fame.

Finlay told Variety: "Anybody can change their life for the better. We can all have better lives if we just apply ourselves to it and have a positive attitude.

"Nothing is written in stone, 'You have to be this way or you have to be that way'. We can all change our own lives of how everything should be."
