Viewers Are Comparing Tonight's Episode Of Gangs Of London To GOT's Battle Of The B*****ds

The fifth episode upped the violence even further

Heads up that if you've not seen episode of five of Gangs of London yet, there are some spoilers in this article.

Bloody scenes in tonight's episode of Gangs of London has left viewers reeling with comparisons being made to the Battle of the B*****ds from Game of Thrones.

The new show, which is airing weekly on Sky Atlantic, is the most violent show on British telly with a whopping 113 deaths throughout.

Viewers were shown a fair amount of that violence tonight, with plenty of bloodshed and even a massive explosion for good measure, earning the episode a very respectable 9.6 on IMDb.

Taking to Twitter, one impressed fan wrote: "Gangs of London episode five will stand shoulder to shoulder with 'Hardhome', 'Battle of the B*****s', 'Ozymandias', 'Felina', 'Watchers on the Wall'. I just watched history."

A second posted: "Meanwhile, Gangs of London S1 E5 reminded me of GOT's Battle of the B*****ds. That was A LOT of firepower and kills just because of a boy and his dad - heartbreaking!"

While a third said: "Gangs of London episode five... WOW, this show just became an absolute MUST WATCH. My jaw's on the floor, it's must have been blown off!"

Another wrote: "Gangs of London episode 5 is hands down the greatest action episode I've seen on television! Pure mayhem. Absolute carnage. Merciless brutality. When it comes to filming action, Gareth Evans remains unbeaten."

The Sky Atlantic show, which is available in its entirety on NowTV and Sky Go, has already become the most binged box set on Sky this year with more than 16.6 million downloads across the series already.
