For many of us, Step Brothers is one of Will Ferrell's best-loved roles and is as popular today - almost 12 years after its release - as it ever was.

So when the 52-year-old actor appeared as a guest on an edition of Hot Ones, the host couldn't wait to ask him about it. And when I say 'it', I mean the fake balls from the drum teabagging scene.

The premise of the YouTube show is simple - a big-time celeb comes along and sits opposite host Sean Evans and talks about their career, all the while eating increasingly hot chicken wings.

Before checking out the show, though, you should probably make sure you've got a fair few hours free, because you can very, very easily find yourself lost down a hot wing-shaped rabbit hole.

While chatting to the Anchorman star, Evans seized his moment to ask about the prosthetic testicles used in the 2008 hit.

In the clip, he says: "As an icon with decades in the comedy game, it's only right with you here that we verify some of the folklore surrounding Will Ferrell.

"Is it true that the prosthetic testicles that you got from the set of Step Brothers, your most-treasured keepsake..."

At which point, the actor interjects: "Definitely... definitely my top one. Top two. I keep them in a little like trophy case, like a proper, you know, like you'd see in a sports memorabilia... like [where] you'd put a baseball, like a signed baseball."

Evans jumps in: "Put it up on a pedestal."

"Exactly," adds Ferrell.

But as I mentioned above, this is just one in a long line of golden moments from the series - one of those being Paul Rudd's photography party trick.

The Ant-Man actor had just polished off a cauliflower substitute - which he said he chose not because he was a vegetarian, but because he was 'trying to become better' - coated in AKA Miso sauce (which has a heat of around 10,000 on the Scoville scale) when he showcased his remarkable party trick.

Borrowing the host's phone, Rudd manipulated his hands in front of the lens before revealing a photograph of Evans in which he appears to have a naked man squatting above his head.

The host was baffled by the handy illusion, but before Evans had chance to properly gather himself, Rudd took another snap in which he added great anatomical detail to the naked man.

He said: "After a while, you can learn new tricks. You're expanding, growing. I found my pinky at the right angle makes a great scrotum."
