Our lives have become totally consumed with Netflix's Tiger King during lockdown. Impressions are taking over our social media feeds and we can't get that song out of our heads, but are Joe Exotic-themed condoms a step too far?
If the answer to that question is 'hell no' then it might be time to head on over to Firebox.com because they've launched the protection - featuring the undisputed cult hero - to be enjoyed by an entire generation of bored humans trapped in their lockdown cages.
Now you can get your paws on your very own piece of (unoffish) merch inspired by arguably the most popular gun-toting, polygamist, country musician-cum-zookeeper there is.
Each limited edition pack will contain four quality-assured condoms (phew) - one for you, two husbands and a spare... just how Joe would want it.
The protection - which is aimed at cool cats and cool kittens - will only be available from Firebox.com for £9.99 ($12.40). Shipping can be sorted out worldwide and limited quantities are available - hurry.
It's worth noting that the condoms are non-spermicidally lubricated, kitemarked, CE marked, do not contain animal-derived ingredients and are alcohol free.
Firebox has marketed the product on Joe Exotic's infamous line 'I'm never going to financially recover from this' being something you could be saying nine months from now 'if you don't rubber up with Joe's Exotic Condoms'.
For anyone who hasn't seen the documentary - well, first of all what've you been doing in lockdown? Anyway, it follows Joe Exotic and his various industry rivals, unfurling over the course of seven episodes into everything from drug kingpins and conmen through to cult leaders and murder-for-hire plots.
But while we've all been watching on in sheer bemusement, co-director Eric Goode has revealed the project had much humbler beginnings, having originally set out to make a film about the illegal reptile trade when he 'stumbled' on the story of Mr Exotic.
Speaking to LADbible, Goode said: "It was very clear that Joe was a poster child, if you will, of the cat people - and PETA and Carole Baskin and the Humane Society were all basically trying to put Joe out of business.
"Although Joe was one of the most flagrant tiger breeders, it was completely a surprise that Joe would ultimately - allegedly - try to kill Carole Baskin.
"That we just stumbled upon that. So of course the story took off and turned into something very different than what we had ever imagined."
And look at where it's come. Four condoms for a tenner. Not bad, eh?
