Becky Vardy Reportedly Considering Complaint Against Joe Swash After ‘I’m A Celebrity’ Comments

The 'Extra Camp' co-host claimed she was a part of the boys club, which seems to have rubbed the WAG up the wrong way...

Joe Swash probably didn't think his comments on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! spin-off show Extra Camp would rile up any of the contestants, but he was wrong. So very wrong.

The EastEnders star had a bit of a rant about Rebekah Vardy during the programme and had some choice words to say about her.

He said: "I don't feel like - apart from Rebekah Vardy who's part of the man group - there's no women in there.

"Proper strong women to say 'no, I don't need two blokes to do this, we're capable as well'. I'd love to see Jennie do something."

While some people might not even bat an eyelid at that, Mrs Vardy was reportedly fucking 'livid' at being thought of as manly or masculine - you can understand why any woman in the world might not be keen to have those words used to describe them.

A source close to the 35-year-old has told the Sun that Becky isn't going to let this be tossed aside as friendly banter.

"Becky came off the ITV2 show absolutely livid," the source said. "She was ranting and raving at staff over Joe's comments.

"She's considering making a formal complaint. Becky called him a 'weasel'.

"She expected Extra Camp to be light-hearted and fun - which it is - but ended up feeling like she had her back to the wall and was cornered and forced to talk about Iain Lee."

While Mrs Vardy claims she felt 'attacked' by Swash's comments, she's facing some pretty hectic abuse for her comments against campmate Iain Lee.

The comedian - who suffers from depression - broke down in tears when he was unable to complete the Dingo Dollar Challenge, which involved his biggest fear: heights.

After she was booted from the show, she told Extra Camp that she thought he was 'fake', and accused him of having a 'game plan' and 'playing the sympathy card'.

Mrs Vardy was forced to deny she was kicking a man while he's down on Good Morning Britain, telling the audience: "I was under pressure when I made that comment about him earlier being an utter fake. That was slightly taken out of context.

"You know what, Iain and I had some really, really nice conversations. We spoke about what we'd been through in our past and I gave him a lot of pep talks."

People have commented on social media, however, saying she should be stripped from her ambassadorship with mental health charity Young Minds, and one person even claiming to have reported her to Ofcom.
