Danny Dyer Dresses Up As Amy Winehouse For 'Lip Sync Battle'

We all know Danny Dyer is a geezer. Even when he's dressing up as the late Amy Winehouse, he's still a geezer.

His dabble into cross-dressing came on the popular show Lip Sync Battle, and it's tough to shake the image of him in a dress, wearing make-up and syncing it out.

The on screen hard man takes on Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood in the first episode of the second season of the UK version of the show.

He kicked things off with a rendition of Kasabian's 'Fire', where he actually managed to maintain his hard knock roots, while mixing it up with his inner Tom Meighan.

Following mimicking the Leicester band's hit single, he whacked on a tight dress, fake tattoos, lip stick, eyeliner and a wig imitate Amy.

"I was born to do this - to be a rock star," he told The Sun. "There's no way in the world I will lose to Craig fucking Revel Horwood. Of course he's my enemy tonight and he always will be."

Apparently his performance of one of Amy's songs was brilliant, though we'll have to wait until Friday at 10pm on Channel 5 to find out exactly what it was like. He even raised a drink to the late singer during the song - a nice touch.
