James Corden Reveals The Biggest Thing He Misses About The UK

When you move to a different city or country, you're going to go through phases where you miss your old place. It's inevitable.

There might be an awesome take away shop that you crave or it could be as simple as a specific type of tea that you wish you could get your hands on to give you a reminder of your former days.

For James Corden, the thing he misses most about the UK is the architecture.

He made the big move to the US in 2015 to take over The Late Late Show from Craig Ferguson and his 'Carpool Karaoke' became an internet sensation. But while his celebrity status has risen dramatically in America, he's admitted that Los Angeles doesn't have everything.

Speaking to the Mirror: "Oddly, the thing I miss most is architecture, because I think London is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and I think I took it for granted when I lived here.

"So now I live somewhere with almost no architecture, I sort of look around and, if anyone says to me, 'I'm going to London, what should I do?' I say, 'You should look up'."

To be fair, London's architecture is incredible and there's so much history engraved in some of those walls so you can't blame him for missing that. Corden added that he was worried that his parents were missing out on seeing his kids grow up, which is understandable.

He has foreshadowed a potential move back to the UK, telling the Daily Mail: "I'm almost certain we won't live [in the US] forever.

"Right now is the only time since we moved here when I've experienced homesickness. For a while it was lovely. For a time, it's great. With young kids it feels like a really great place to live. But then? I don't know.

"But at some point, the phone is going to ring and we're going to feel a million miles away from people who might need us.

"That's what weighs on my mind. The money is lovely, but time with people - that's the only thing that matters."

But as his career has gone from strength to strength, it appears that his haters have grown as well. A simple search on Twitter of Corden related tweets show people aren't keen to see the TV presenter back in the UK for a while.
