Entertainment is fairly simple these days. Get some young people, put them in a close environment, then throw in all sorts of embarrassing or testing situations.

Love Island proved that by rising to the precipice of evening TV, simply abiding by the formula of: Horny 20-something-year-olds + sun x alcohol = mayhem.

Your Face or Mine? does something very similar, but rather than beating around the bush with tasks, challenges and things disguised as games, they literally just face couples with awkward predicaments.

To be honest, if you agree to go on that type of show you really have to be prepared for a shit storm, so none of the guests can really complain.

Like this pair, Andrew and Julia, who were greeted by Andrews ex.

Julia is baffled by who the woman is, as her fella has never bothered to mention her. Seems fair to be honest, you don't want to be with someone who brings up their ex.

Anyway, it turns out, according to host Jimmy Carr, that Andrew is still infrequently in touch with his ex Georgia, who he dated on and off for a year at uni.

For some absurd reason, he even feels the need to compliment Georgia on her new hair, saying she 'looks nice', right in front of his current missus. Proper amateur move, mate.

But things got a bit more interesting when he was asked who was better looking, Georgia or Julia, and the audience's votes stirred up some shit.

Andrew claims he's 'upgraded' since getting with Julia, however 58 percent of the audience disagree, opting for Georgia as the better looking girl.

If anything the show is warped in a caveman-like time warp whereby random people are asked to judge the looks of women while two people do their best to break up a couple.

The worst thing though, by far, is that there are actually people who are willing to go through it. As if there's more than one outcome once they finish the show.
