Man Has Ridiculous 'Red Chair' Story About Getting Asparagus Stuck Up His A**e

The Graham Norton Show is often very good because of its guest line ups, however there's one segment that sometimes overpowers the celebrity talent sat on the sofa.

People have fallen in love with the red chair, where audience members can tell a story, however should the story not impress Graham and his guests, you get flipped.

There are many examples of it getting out of hand, namely Mark Wahlberg being pissed and flipping the chair numerous times, but for now we're talking about last night.

On this occasion John, from Northern Ireland, was welcomed onto the chair while Hugh Grant, Sarah Millican, Kelly Clarkson, Jason Momoa and of course Norton all listened in.

Getting straight to the point John revealed that he had an excruciating pain coming from his arsehole, which was of course a cause for concern.

The sofa of celebrities, particularly Clarkson, were gobsmacked by the revelation and were glad to know he went to the doctors. However, they were then on the edge of their seats to hear what happened next.

"I did go to the doctors, got seen straight away and he says 'right can you remove your trousers and underwear, lie down and think happy thoughts'," John explained.

"He rummaged about and then he asked me a question: 'do you like asparagus?', then pulled out an asparagus tip from my anus.

"Bizarrely, I had not eaten asparagus for months."

After a sweeping camera shot of Grant, Millican, Clarkson and Momoa, all of which were mortified, the host flipped the lever, thus sending John off the chair.

As funny as the chair flip can be, I can't help but be curious as to how our protagonist managed to get asparagus wedged up his crack without realising.

Clearly not interested in the answer, Graham says 'answers on a postcard' which would be a really fucking weird postcard to receive.

"By the way, when I was pissed I tried whipping up a rather ambitious frittata. Things went a bit south and I accidentally sat on an asparagus. Didn't realise until the day after when I was at the doctors HAHA!

"Can you feed the dog and make sure there's some milk in the fridge for when we're back?
