Michelle Keegan Makes Viewers Cringe With 'Our Girl' Sex Scene

This is definitely a big no-no.

Fans of BBC drama Our Girl, starring Michelle Keegan, have waited a year for the show to make a return. But while the series was welcomed back, one scene made pretty much everyone cringe and it's easy to see why.

Lance Corporal Georgie Lane, played by Keegan, ended up in bed with engineer Milan, played by Rudi Dharmalingam. Nothing too shocking there, except that part way through, Lane gets a work call and rather than letting it go to voicemail, she answered it. She then went on to have a chat with her colleague. That sort of thing would get you chased out of the First Dates restaurant.

That's not a good sign, Rudi. I've actually got a mate who this happened to, and she was not best pleased, although Rudi seems to be slightly more forgiving than my pal.

It's pretty much a straight up no-no, isn't it? I mean, the fictional Georgie may have an important job, but still have some manners, Lane.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to say the scene was 'cringe' and 'awkward', spare a thought for poor Rudi, eh, guys?

Other viewers were less than impressed with the acting, tweeting to say the show had 'gone down hill' and had a 'rubbish storyline'. Bit harsh.

Whatever viewers think of the new series, there's a whopping 12 episodes in this series, as opposed to five in the previous instalment.

Speaking to Nick Grimshaw about signing up for so many episodes, Keegan said: "I wasn't 100 percent there would be another series but I signed the option for there to be another. Obviously the first time it was for five episodes but this time it was for 12 so it's overly doubled.

"I didn't know that at the time either. It's been a long, long filming schedule. I was away for three months last time and this time I was in South Africa for three months and then I had three weeks off then I was in Malaysia for three months.

"So over all I was away for seven months. It was a long time being away from home. I had to do it, the contract was signed. Book me a flight!" Let's hope she didn't forget her charger...
