Producers of Take Me Out have warned the men to 'go easy' on Chloe Sims and Claudia Fragapane, a contestant has revealed.
The popular dating show has been running for ten years, and will air a special anniversary episode tonight, which turns the premise of the show on its head and will have 30 male contestants replacing the usual 'Flirty Thirty' women.
Reality star Chloe Sims, 35, and 20-year-old Olympic gymnast Claudia Fragapane were signed up to take part in the episode, but the men were 'warned' to go easy on the women.
Contestant Harry Berry told the Sun: "We get briefed before the show.
"But before we knew who they were - we only found out when they come down in the lift - they did say to us, 'the girls are quite nervous' so they told us to be easy on them, compliment them.
"They said, 'be yourselves because we picked you for a reason'.
"I think they were worried being a bit of a wolf pack type thing. Sort of the guys giving all the sexual innuendos. Especially with the whole Me Too thing going on at the moment.
"All the guys were really nice to them and trying to do up her confidence really."
And it seems like that's exactly what contestant Chloe needed, she told Digital Spy she was 'petrified' at the thought of taking part.
"Honestly, I can't stress how much it freaked me out," she told the news outlet. "The poor producers! I said to them, 'Please, I don't want to do it anymore' - but they said I'd be fine. I was so petrified though, especially going down in the lift."
She went on to describe just how scared she was feeling during filming: "My legs were shaking and I couldn't concentrate. I thought I was going to faint; I was that nervous. I was feeling so vulnerable. I didn't want Paddy to leave me. Any time he walked off, I was like, 'Where are you going?!' I was so scared.
"I'm such a huge fan of the show that when I was given the opportunity to take part, it was a no-brainer - but I hadn't taken into consideration that I'm not used to being on stage. I've got massive respect for all the men that do it now."
You can see the tenth anniversary episode on ITV tonight at 6pm.
