Remember that YouTuber who got his head stuck in a microwave? Well he has been at it again, but this time he decided to build his own quick sand trap, because, banter, innit.

Jimmy Swingler who once cost the fire service hundreds of pounds after five fire fighters had to come and cut him out of a microwave after he cemented his head inside, has built his own quick sand pit to see just how difficult it would be to get out.

In the video filmed over the course of three days and shared on online, Swingler and his band of vloggers can be seen building the large wooden box, filling it with dozens of bags of sand, mixing it with water and then jumping in - and then trying to get out again.

It shouldn't be necessary to say at this point that this is a ridiculous thing to do and definitely don't ever try and do the same thing at home. Ever.

But there is a method to the madness, ish. In the video, the internet sensation explains why he is taking on the foolhardy challenge.

The group of mates have a couple of hairy moments but manage to escape the quick sand pit.

He says: "I think we are the only channel that DIYs their own death. As a kid I had nightmares about a film I watched called the Never Ending Story, it was the most traumatic thing I've ever seen in my life...and in today's video we're gonna be doing that. Fuck."

But whether you agree with what they're doing or not, you have to hand it to them, it's a pretty impressive sand pit trap, there's no doubt about that. Solid workmanship.

After they finish the enourmous tub the group of mates all jump in to test how tough it is to escape, and as you can imagine, it was pretty tricky.

But they learnt their lesson from last time and had some help on standby in case things got out of hand.

And as Swingler points out in the video: "This time we've got a health and safety officer around because like last time I nearly died, so...

"What if I genuinely can't escape, then what's happening? If I get stuck then ask your mum to make me some spaghetti hoops."

Friend and fellow Youtuber Romell Henry then adds: "Or a cheese toasty."

Apart from a couple of brief moments of panic they didn't encounter any actual danger this time and were all able to get out. The end.
