Baby Yoda - who isn't actually Baby Yoda at all - was seen sipping from a cup of soup in the latest episode and, if we're being honest, it's one of the cutest things to ever exist.
On social media fans have rushed to proclaim that Baby Yoda and his soup is set to topple Kermit sipping tea. Big claim.
As you're probably aware, Muppet Kermit is usually shown alongside the line 'but that's none of my business'.

Sharing the gif of the little fella one person tweeted: "Baby Yoda and his soup is the new sipping tea meme. I've said it."

Someone else went so far as to Photoshop in a mug of tea, instead of the soup Baby Yoda originally had, and wrote: "This is the new meme to replace Kermit's tea sipping meme. Retweet to spread awareness."
This isn't the first time the cute little puppet has been memed - ever since we saw him in his cot for the first time he's been taking over social media and this shows no sign of slowing down.
As the series is set after Yoda's death, Baby Yoda isn't Baby Yoda - he is just a younger version of the species that Yoda was. And, in human terms, he's far from being a baby, either. He's actually 50, but considering Yoda lived to 900, it's fair to call him a baby.
Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau has quickly realised how popular the character and recently gave us all what we wanted - behind the scenes footage.
Sharing a cute clip to his Instagram account, Favreau wrote: "If your Thanksgiving table gets too heated show everyone this video I took on the set of the Mandalorian." What a treat.
