Can you guess how?

If you're a WWE fan, then the chances are you're probably not best pleased with the ending of the Hell in a Cell event in California on Sunday.

Crowds at the Golden 1 Center were pretty riled up about Brock Lesnar's shockingly brief triumph over fan favourite Kofi Kingston, but this was only compounded when Seth Rollins retained his title in the main event by getting himself disqualified.

One should not get disqualified at Hell in a Cell.

The 'Hell' in 'Hell in a Cell' refers to the fact that it's a 'no holds barred' bout, meaning wrestlers typically lamp each other with weapons and all sorts without being disqualified - hence the uproar when the fight was called off after Rollins went on a rampage with a sledgehammer.

Now, none other than porn giants Brazzers has waded in to offer WWE script-writing advice.

In a tweet, Brazzers said: "Hey WWE, let us know if you need advice on how to craft logical and coherent storylines with satisfying finishes."

Now that's a hard one for WWE to take.

Indeed, the angry response to the main event wasn't confined to the Golden 1 Centre - which rang out with boos at the close of the fight. Social media was also awash with outrage, with #cancelwwenetwork even trending.

The event was also slammed by Sports Illustrated writer Justin Barrasso.

He said: "Repeatedly criticised for an extremely weak build to the show, WWE's Hell in a Cell ended in disarray, delivering one of the weakest main event finishes in company history.

"While it initially appeared that no thought was put into the card - as of Saturday, only three matches were advertised - it turned out the same could be said for the finish.

"The crowd in Sacramento at the Golden 1 Center immediately voiced their disapproval, and the finish signalled a complete lack of awareness from Vince McMahon to his own fan base."

The WWE has since claimed that the official ending of the fight was a 'referee stoppage', not a disqualification - but in truth, the damage had already been done by this point.

LADbible has contacted WWE for comment.

In the meantime, if 'SmackDown' and 'RAW' become very different shows, then you know who has been contracted in to help with the scripts.
