A TikTok user has unearthed an old clip of Arnold Schwarzenegger discussing how much he enjoys lifting weights. Spoiler: he enjoys it a lot, and people have been somewhat freaked out by his choice of phrase to describe it. So what does he say? Well... check it out below:

Terrifying.

TikToker @maxkfit shared the footage online, along with a clip of himself discussing it, in which he says: "There is no way Arnold Schwarzenegger got away with saying this during an interview."

In the footage, Arnie can be seen explaining how he feels about his training.

He says: "I am, like, getting the feeling of cumming in the gym. I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home. I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage.

"When I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people, I get the same feeling.

"So I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Well there you go.

Reasonably, people seeing the clip for the first time have been pretty creeped out by the clip, which is intense, to say the very least.

One person joked: "It's like he just learned that word and is using it everywhere."

Another said: "I bet he regrets this though."

Over on Twitter, another person discussing the clip said: "Pumping Iron is disturbing to listen to. It sounds like a porno and I don't want to picture Arnold cumming. EW."

Yes, as the eagle-eyed Twitter user has spotted, the clip is actually from 1977 documentary Pumping Iron.

Its synopsis reads: "This partly real and partly scripted film documents what many consider to be the golden age of bodybuilding that occurred in the 1970s. It depicts two major competitions: Mr. Universe, which is for amateur participants, and Mr. Olympia, which is for pros.

White Mountain Films

"In the former, Mike Katz and Ken Waller are profiled, while in the latter, the chief contenders are Lou Ferrigno, Franco Columbu and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is hoping to take home a sixth win."

The film was shot in the 100 days before the Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia competitions in 1975, and during the competitions.

It wasn't released until 1977 because the filmmakers ran out of money and couldn't finish production for two years.

In the end, Schwarzenegger and other bodybuilders featured in the film helped raise the funds to complete it, before it was released in 1977.

It was a success at the box office, with Schwarzenegger becoming a household name after its release.

The film went some way to inspire the fitness craze of the 1980s, although possibly not as a result of Arnie's... er, 'excitement'.
