Woman's Live Twitch Stream In Public Badly Backfires After She Leaves Chat On ‘Read Out Loud’

Woman's Live Twitch Stream In Public Badly Backfires After She Leaves Chat On ‘Read Out Loud’

The woman who was live streaming in public was left incredibly embarrassed by viewers who began sending in rude messages

A cringe-worthy video has surfaced on Reddit showing an influencer attempting to stream in public whilst being hilariously interrupted by her viewers. Watch the footage below:

The woman, who appeared to be on a train full of commuters, was streaming live on social media platform, Twitch.

Anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet journey, however, was in for a shock as the woman’s phone starts blaring noise.

First, a male voice can be heard saying: "Attention bald white man in the back... this is for you" before repeatedly calling out said ‘bald white man’.

The streamer looked ashamed, before telling off her viewers for being so rude.

If that wasn’t painful enough to watch, the stream continued with the sound of very long and very loud fart noises. Not what you expect to hear on busy public transport.

Two commuters in the background were seen looking around in confusion as the streamer looked more and more embarrassed by the second.

Commenters on Reddit weighed in on the video, with one commenting: “Cringe for her. Hilarious to me.”

A second said: “Oh no... this is too cringe and funny at the same time.”

However, not everyone enjoyed her public humiliation, as one commenter wrote: “Public streamers are the cringiest groups of people. Just stream at home.”

You may be thinking, why on earth did she not turn the volume down, or put headphones in?

Well, according to streaming-savvy Reddit commenters, public streamers purposefully embarrass themselves in public for financial donations called ‘text-to-speech donations’.

One wrote: “People won't donate to IRL [in real life] streamers if the volume is off, low, or using headphones.”

It appears this self-inflicted humiliation can rake in hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in a single stream. Respect the hustle, I guess.

However, this somewhat light-hearted humour has previously taken a dark turn.

A streamer, who goes by the name ‘Arab Andy’, was arrested in Seattle back in 2018 for a ‘bomb threat prank’, according to Polygon

Andy was livestreaming as he walked into a classroom at the University of Washington. A text-to-speech bomb threat could be heard blasting from his phone, and the area was subsequently evacuated.

However, he continued to stream even as he was arrested and more text-to-speech comments could be heard mocking the situation.

The stream has now been taken down on YouTube due to violating their guidelines.

This was not the first time Andy got in trouble for his controversial streams as he previously found himself in an altercation with members of the public for his racially expletive ‘text-to-speech' comments.
