Beyonce Appears To Give Golden State Warriors Owner's Wife Some Serious Side-Eye

Beyonce Appears To Give Golden State Warriors Owner's Wife Some Serious Side-Eye

The Beyhive responded in typically measured fashion...

Beyoncé is known for many things, her music, her fashion, and her marriage to rap billionaire Jay Z, but one thing that she does better than nearly anyone else in the whole world is throwing shade.

This incident is no different. Hell, you can almost hear the memes being created as we speak.

Let me explain, Bey and Jay were sitting courtside - as they often like to do - at Game 3 of the NBA basketball finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors looking all happiness and smiles, when a woman dared to lean across her to have a quick word with Jay.

Suddenly, the smiles and happiness turned into the most incredible side eye you've ever seen. Seriously, check it out.

Ruthless.

What makes matters even more awkward is that the woman in question wasn't just some random person wanting a quick chat and a selfie.

It was Nicole Curran, the wife of the Golden State Warriors' owner Joe Lacob.

As often happens when you say anything that upsets the Beyhive (as Beyoncé's fans like to think of themselves) they swarmed on Nicole and started going after her.

It can be pretty tiresome and relentless, to say the least.

Anyway, after the fact, Nicole shared a photograph in order to set the record straight. It showed her and Queen Bey sharing a slightly more friendly looking moment during the same game, which the Warriors eventually lost 109 - 123.

She also then disabled the comments to protect herself from further attacks from the swarms of Beyoncé fanatics.

Anyway, it's fair to say that people have been amused, and angry, and basically all of the feelings possible about what is essentially a meaningless encounter captured at the wrong time.

Imagine the things you could achieve with that much time on your hands.

One person said: "I would leave the earth if Beyoncé looked this ready to smack me"

Another commented: "I swear Beyoncé looked like she was bout to snatch a bitch up during #game3."

A third (helpfully) added: "How you hover over Beyoncé like that is she crazy???"

Luckily, some slightly more level headed folk over there saw better than laying into a woman for just trying to have a conversation at a sports game.

One supportive person offered: "Hey Bey, you might need to speak on what's happening with Nicole Curran because her comments section on insta was flooded with bee stings and she's been forced to turn off comments for all her posts. One can only imagine what her DMs look like."

Hey, perhaps it isn't actually Bey's fault, or Nicole's, it's people who flood Instagram comments sections with their nonsense.

If you haven't got anything nice to say, and all that...
