Is Millie Bobbie Brown a time-traveller? Well no, probably not, but some people seem to think so. In fact, people have been going apeshit over the fact that the 13-year-old Stranger Things star - who played Eleven in the show - bears more than a passing resemblance to Natalie Portman when she was much younger.
That's lead people to come up with some (totally plausible) explanations about the whole thing, which all started when the following observations appeared on Twitter:
Advert
That's when the theories started flying in. One Twitter user suggested MBB is 'a Natalie Portman clone created to grace us with more Natalie Portman', while another thought it was all about parallel universes colliding: "Maybe Millie is just Natalie from another dimension. Done. SOLVED IT. You are so welcome."
And then there was this incredibly simple and compelling argument from someone who's clearly seen the Terminator movies too many times: "Simple explanation. Natalie Portman invented a time machine, went back to warn young Natalie about #trump. Young Natalie snuck in behind Future Natalie back to the future and is stuck here because returning to the past would completely disrupt the space time continuum. Simple."
That might sound totally ridiculous at first and is about as confusing as the striking similarities between the two actresses, but really, what other explanation could there be that makes as much sense as that? Millie is really Natalie. It's all falling into place now.
Except that's barely scratching the surface. Perhaps Millie is actually a clone as part of a time-travelling Illuminati plot to bring about the New World Order and cement their position as overlords of the planet.
After all, conspiracy theories often turn out to be true years after they were first suggested, and stranger things have happened.
Of course, it could be that they simply look like each other, but that's... well, just a little boring isn't it?
