Oasis had to cancel several shows in Germany in 2002 after frontman Liam Gallagher got into a fight in a bar. He broke several teeth in the scrap and he and drummer Alan White were arrested for bodily harm, trespassing and material damage, but were eventually released without charge and slapped with a €50,000 fine.
But the 45-year-old has a theory about what really happened to his chompers.
Speaking to the Guardian, the musician said: "It all went down after I kicked a copper at some point in the fucking lobby, I think, because after that I woke up in the fucking nick.
"So I think they give me a whack over the head in the back of the fucking van and I think they've just gone, 'Fuck you, you c**t', later on. Because they were pulled out completely perfect.
"They were going: 'Oh, as you were coming up the stairs, you tripped and they whacked on there'. But they'd have broken, wouldn't they? You don't fucking have them completely fall out like that.
"So I'm going, 'they fucking ripped them out because I did one of their geezers, that's what happened there'."

He adds that when he woke up, he didn't have a fat or bruised lip, leading him to question how he could have his teeth knocked out without any surrounding damage done to his mouth. It's a pretty outlandish remark to make considering he's accusing police of ripping out his teeth with goddamn pliers - but at the end of the day, there's probably no way to ever definitively say.
At the time, the Oasis website released a statement, saying Gallagher was an 'innocent victim', despite Billboard reporting he kicked an officer in the ribs.
"Several members of Oasis and their entourage were the victims of an unprovoked attack by a group of youths in a Munich club," the statement read.
Liam says the fight kicked off after one of the Oasis roadies was 'giving some bird the fucking eye and that' and then all of a sudden, their security guards grab them by the neck, before a glass table was thrown over their head.
The people who launched that attack fled before police arrived and then the situation turned into a bloody nightmare. Around 80 officers descended on the club to break up the fight before 'much of the nightclub furniture being reduced to matchwood'.
Safe to say, Gallagher got his teeth fixed the next day.
