Marilyn Manson Claims Justin Bieber Is Part Of 'Religious Cult' As Bizarre Feud Continues
We've seen a number of celebrity feuds this year, we've had Chris Brown and Soluja Boy (remember him?), Azealia Banks and Rihanna, Donald Trump and just about everyone in the US and of course, my personal favourite, Shane Richie who went in on Nick Knowles. But put all those aside and make way for this new spat - Marilyn Manson and Justin Bieber.
Yup, everyone's favourite goth has had enough of Bieber calling him a 'girl' with the 'mind of a squirrel'.
This isn't the first time Manson has had strong words for little Bieber; just last month he called him a 'piece of shit', after it was reported that Bieber said he'd made Manson 'relevant again' after wearing a t-shirt with him on. Oof.
Manson said: "He was a real piece of shit in the way he had the arrogance to say that." Which I reckon is fair enough, under the circumstances, actually.
Then things took an even weirder turn, when the 'Personal Jesus' singer seemed to say the pair had settled their differences and might even be heading towards a collaboration. Can you imagine what that would sound like? Actually sit now, and imagine it. Fucking hell.
However, in a more recent radio interview, Manson seems to have put those plans on ice, saying: "Well he's in some sort of sexual religious cult with an Asian version of Dave Navarro, apparently. The guy doesn't wear a shirt... But no, I don't like to fight with girls, so I don't want to fight with Justin Bieber."
The interviewer then asked Manson what he thought Bieber was thinking when he donned the Manson t-shirt, and he responded: "I don't know, because I don't know how to use the mind of a squirrel.
"It is representing rock and roll though, I appreciate the fact that you identify with the integrity that I try to represent with rock music.
"Because if I don't do it, who else is going to? If you want to fuck with that, if you tap the cobra, you're going to get the fangs. If you kiss the cobra, you get the venom. I'm not really sure what that metaphor means, but you can just absorb that and put it into your own brain." Erm, yeah, man, sure thing.
Anyway, your move, Bieber.
