Nicklas Bendtner has been sentenced to 50 days in prison.
The ex-Arsenal striker was convicted of assaulting a taxi driver following a night out in Denmark in September.
The cabbie was left with a broken jaw after Bendtner refused to pay a £4.80 fare, reports the Mirror. The footballer then reportedly went on to punch and kick the driver as he lay on the ground.

Bendtner, 30, currently plies his trade for Norwegian outfit Rosenborg, and is set to appeal the sentence, according to his lawyer.
The Danish striker has been at Rosenborg since 2017 following his transfer from Nottingham Forest, where he spent one season.
Since leaving Arsenal, he has also played for Birmingham City, Sunderland, Juventus and Wolfsburg.
