Lads Convert Car Into Huge Hot Tub And It Still Drives

Remember when Pimp My Ride was absolutely fucking everywhere?! Your standard Ford Fiesta no longer cut the mustard because some people were driving round with full discos in the back of their cars. How's that fair?!

It took Phil Weicker and Duncan Forster six years to transform their 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille into a fully functioning mobile hot tub, which bubbles as they drive.

They're from from Los Angeles, U.S.A. and are now planning to take their car to Bonneville Speedway, Utah, in August to set the land speed record for the world's fastest hot tub.

The engineers transformed the vehicle, which they've weirdly named The Carpool DeVille, after they came up with a prototype back when they were engineering students at McMaster University, Canada. They bought the car for $800 and improved its heating, suspension, controls and, of course, pool plumbing.

It's clearly a labour of love.
