A quick look on the Deadpool actor's Twitter feed and you'll see a bunch of references to his daughter. For ages, most of us have thought this was the scribblings of a dad with a sense of humour.
But it appears that Ryan isn't this savage to his daughter. His wife, Blake Lively, has confirmed to Glamour magazine: "He may as well work for the Enquirer. When he says, 'my daughter', he's never, ever talking about her. Everything is a completely made-up scenario.
"He'll run them by me sometimes just to make me laugh. But oh, I'm so in love with him when he writes that stuff.
"I mean, I'm in love with him most of the time, but especially with that."
Not that I actually thought he buried her in the sand and walked away or dropped her off at Burning Man Festival, but we didn't need anyone to confirm it. While we have to adjust to a world where Reynolds isn't as savage as he lets on, we do at least live in one where Deadpool 2 is getting closer and closer to release.
It's slated for release in the UK on June 1 2018, and the star has revealed Zazie Beetz is playing the character of Domino.
"Some people just know how to work a red carpet," he wrote alongside a picture of Domino, lying on top of his character, Wade 'Deadpool' Wilson, in full costume.
