Last night, things got really weird at the Oscars.
First, Ryan Gosling confused the hell out of Twitter when he turned up with a mystery 'date' instead of his wife, Eva Mendes. It turns out that it was his sister, but hey. There's nothing like a bit of controversy.
Then, there was an absolutely massive balls-up when the wrong name was announced as the winner of 'Best Picture'. It should have gone to Moonlight, but was accidentally given to La La Land. Whoops!
However, the strangest part of the night had to be Nicole Kidman's weird clapping. I know that sounds inconsequential, but check it out...

What's going on? Was she just hoping to be made into a meme, or does she actually clap like that? I'm not sure that any human on the face of planet Earth has ever celebrated with their fingers pointed out. It gives me the heebie-jeebies.
