Pink Gives Herself A Haircut After Drinking During Self-Isolation

If there's one cardinal rule to follow when you're drunk, it's that you shouldn't use your phone. Don't text, don't call - your ex, your current partner, your best friend from years ago, your boss. Nobody. Because chances are you're going to say or write something, however well-intentioned, that you'll regret. Now, though, it seems that Pink has discovered the second golden rule of what not to do while inebriated.

Yes, the 40-year-old pop star - whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore - thought, while under the influence, that she'd be able to give herself a stylish, professional haircut. How wrong she was.

"Hey, everybody," she says in the video. "Okay, listen. This is my PSA. I'm walking in my house and getting ready to vacuum and take a shower and I'm eating pretzels. I don't know how much you guys have been drinking during this whole quarantine thing, but I've decided to make it a sport.

"And I wanted to share something that I did last night. When I drink, I get really, really brilliant ideas, and last night I got an idea: I can cut hair! I can totally cut hair. Why have I been paying people this whole time. Look what I did."

At this point she turns the previously obscured side of her head to the camera and reveals a big bare path to the camera where she clearly let the scissors get a bit too close to the scalp. When we say "a bit too close", we mean 'a lot too close'.

"What do you think?" she asks? "Is it a good look?"

While it's not awwwwwful, it's definitely far from the professional cut we're used to seeing the 'So What' singer sport. This being Pink, however, she also - somehow - manages to get away with it.

Besides, she - like the rest of us - is going to be confined within the walls of her house for a while yet, so no-one will actually see her mistake except her husband and children. Oh, and her 7.6 million Instagram followers. Still, in times like these, you have to be able to laugh at yourself (and you mistakes).
