Another Day, Another Ridiculous Quirk In An Old 'Friends' Episode

I dunno about you lads, but I like to look out for extras in sitcoms.

They all look like aliens trying to disguise themselves as human beings, especially if they're drinking. This extra from an old episode of Friends is no exception.

Twitter user Nick Turner spotted the gaffe, featured in a Season Six episode 'The One Where Paul's The Man', which shows a woman drinking a healthy gulp of coffee, only to chew the contents.

Sitcom production can be taxing. It might be boredom that made her do it. It might be insanity. It might actually be skittles in the mug. She might be revelling in the fact she doesn't have lockjaw. She might be gurning. She might be all of the above.

My hunch is that she's foreseen the rise of social media users pointing out weird occurrences in the background of Friends episodes and is deliberately making herself stand out in case her career doesn't take off after this short stint as a Central Perk customer.
