This Reporter's Reaction To A New Disneyland Ride Is The Best Thing You'll See All Day

Why did he agree to this?

I once had a job where I had to dress up as a giant mouse and hand out balloons to kids on the hottest day of the year. I felt pretty hard done by. Now, when I'm having a bad day at work, I remind myself that I'm not wearing a massive, furry mouse costume in 28 degree heat, and I realise things aren't so bad.

I imagine when this reporter ever has a bad day at work, he will think back to the time he had to try out the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Disney's California Adventure.

Cory James from ABC30 News somehow found himself signed up to try out the ride, live. Doesn't sound too bad, does it?

You really need to watch this, my words can't do it justice:

"Cory, looks like you're having a good time," the female anchor says, and she's right. He does. But that's because it hasn't started yet.

Then it does start and it's kind of loud and it's hard to hear Cory... until he starts to scream. And scream. And scream. And he doesn't stop screaming, except for the couple of seconds where it looks like he's passed out.

What makes it even worse is the fella next to him is loving it. He's been on the 12 times before, yep - this is his THIRTEENTH go on the ride. So no wonder he's not screaming, he's probably bored.

I can only assume this guy nodded off when they were handing out assignments for the week and ended up with this job. I feel you, mate, I don't like scary theme-park rides, either. I find them pretty easy to avoid, though; I just do simple things, like not agreeing to go.

His co-hosts back in the studio are loving it, too. The sadistic bastards can't stop laughing.

I mean, to be fair to them, I'd be the same and at one point they do check to see if he's fainted or not, so that's something.

"We should not have done this," Cory says, before asking: "Is it over?"

Once it's finally over, poor, traumatised Cory reiterates, "We shouldn't have done this."

Tough day at the office.
