A Sydney grandmother has been left shocked after discovering that the pattern on a tote bag she'd recently purchased features various Australian animals such as koalas, emus, kangaroos and Tasmanian devils in different sex positions.
Speaking to 7NEWS.com.au, the shocked grandma explained that she purchased the 'Wild Fur You Australiana Tote Bag' by La La Land, which is sold in Myer for $19.95, as she loved the native-themed print.
However, upon having a closer look at the handbag, she discovered that it didn't just feature cute Australian animals, but cute Australian animals getting it on, with one image showing a Tasmanian devil biting its partner's shoulder, and another another apparently showing two other echidnas watching their friends mate.
"I am all for a cheeky joke, but I draw the line at this," she said. "Shocking!"
The Myer shopper said she was shocked when she took a closer look at the controversial print.
Meanwhile, other shoppers who've bought the bag seem to be pretty pleased with their purchase, with glowing reviews on Myer's website praising the bag's 'quality material' and 'durable zipper'.
Others raved about the hilarious print, with one customer saying: "Unexpectedly raunchy but completely hilarious! Bought this to post to a friend in the US and definitely got more than I bargained for!"
Added another: "Bought this as a souvenir to bring back from Australia. Beautifully made bag that makes a great gift for any person with a sense of humour. Great purchase!"
A third said: "The print is certainly hilarious and went famously well when given to a friend who likes telling green jokes."
Myer sells three variations of the 'unexpectedly raunchy' bag.
The cheeky bags are made by Australian company La La Land, which sells a range of items including bags, mugs and tea towels in the 'Wild Fur You' print.
"A best-selling cheeky Australian themed illustration by our talented in-house artist at La La Land, Lilly Perrott," La La Land's website reads.
"A perfect adult gift to stand against the ordinary."
