Dave Grohl is one of the most ubiquitous men in rock and roll - but turning up on someone's kettle? He's surely gone too far.
According to 32-year-old Carl Bennett, though, that's exactly what's happened - he's gone viral on Twitter after posting images of his kettle, in which he says it looks just like the Foo Fighters frontman.
Carl's photos of his kettle shows the plug socket behind its handle, forming what looks like a human face with a moustache and long hair.

He tweeted the pictures with the caption: "My kettle has turned into Dave Grohl," and has since gained 4,000 retweets and 45,000 likes.
However, it's not just Grohl that people are seeing in Carl's kettle, with a slew of commenters suggesting alternatives.
One user pointed out that the kettle looks '100%' like 'Derek Smalls from Spinal Tap' - the hapless musician played by Simpsons voice actor Harry Shearer.

Others saw similar-looking faces such as actor Keanu Reeves, fellow rocker and Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillian, and DJ Steve Aoki.
One individual even suggested it looked like Jesus.
As well as other lookalike suggestions, the tweet received more replies in the form of puns based on Foo Fighters song lyrics.

One user said: "I got another espresso to make!"
Another, spotting it was a play on the lyrics of their hit 'Best of You', replied: "I'm your spoon!"
The official Twitter account for Specsavers was also keen to join in, commenting: "Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of brew?"
The reaction to the tweet has taken Carl by surprise. Taking the picture while sitting at the table with his family, he didn't think the comedic tweet would be as popular as it is.
"It was pretty crazy to see it go as viral as it has," Carl said.

"I thought a few of my friends would find it funny but didn't expect it to be shared so much.
"I was sat at the table with my son and his mum, and I looked up and just saw Dave Grohl instantly.
"I knew I had to take a picture otherwise no one would believe it."
In fact, the popularity of the pictures went all the way to the Foo Fighters themselves, with the group's social media account retweeting his original tweet and adding: "Dave has BECOME the Fresh Pot."
'Fresh Pot' is a reference to a parody video the band released last year, which saw Grohl attempting to beat his caffeine addiction with the help of a fake substance called 'FreshPotix'.

He described it as 'a new drug to help coffee addicts like me manage their coffee addiction.'
Those rock and rollers, eh?
