President Macron Had A Photo Taken And The Internet Is Having None Of It

This meme is spreading like wildfire.

France's President Emmanuel Macron got his official photo taken the other day. It's basically like at school when you used to get your photo, except his lunches are probably a bit better than yours, he has more flags and he doesn't have to wear a school jumper.

It's a nice snap. I reckon his mum will probably buy a copy of it in one of those cardboard frames and put it on the mantelpiece.

But as nice a photo as it is, that hasn't deterred the people of the internet from turning it into a meme and plastering it all over Twitter with the hashtag #PoseTonMacron, or 'pose your Macron'.

There are some pretty funny ones, too. In fact, I'd go as far as to say a lot of them actually improve the overall mood of the original, and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up using one of them as his official shot...if I were putting money on which one it would be, I'd probably say this table football version...

It would definitely spice up his social media accounts, if nothing else.

But it doesn't end there - hundreds of people have been getting involved and inserting Macron into a variety of bizarre scenarios. Take these, for example...

Not bad, eh? The Village People one is a personal favourite.

Stay classy, internet. We love you.
