This Picture Of Steve Bruce In A Kebab Shop Is Epic

The lad of the week!

The manager of Aston Villa was spotted in a kebab shop in full-training gear. It's like going for a jog and stopping off for a Chinese takeaway - unnatural. Shouldn't he be setting a good example for his team?

Nah, actually, scratch that, this is exactly what Steve lad should up to up.

Brucie is old-school, for him it's less about nutrition and more about refilling his fuel tank.

The team is sitting at mid table currently after he replaced Roberto Di Matteo. The former Birmingham, Sunderland and Wigan manager is doing alright, especially with the club in a mess after a horrendous campaign and off-field troubles last season.

I think he deserves a kebab or two for that. And maybe some chips, too.

Steve lad also drove over to one of his player's houses to give him a seeing to after he said he couldn't go to training because his gates wouldn't open. He was furious with forward Ross McCormack so went over to his house to see a four-foot fence he could have jumped.

He said of it: "He said he couldn't jump over a fence that was four feet six inches high ...

"There has been too much indiscipline here at Villa. Not in 20 years in management have I ever gone down this road [of shaming a player] but I feel I have to make a stance because I will not put up with it on my watch. How can I pick him when he doesn't come in? His failure to turn up has happened more than once. Everyone can have an excuse but when it is more than once I will not accept it."

Steve Bruce actually lost a shit-ton of weight...

The former Manchester United player packed on a fair amount of weight over the years. It happens to a lot of former athletes when they get on a bit - they're still eating the same amount of calories but doing much less exercise. But clearly he decided to get healthy. After he left Hull, he went on holiday to Portugal and decided to get trim - and he lost a phenomenal amount of weight. So much so, that people hardly recognised him when he came back on the scene a few months later!

"Thankfully, it came off. It's what you put in mouth, it's quite easy!" he joked to TalkSport.

Back to full kits. While it makes Steve Bruce a bit of a legend, it can also be used to epitomise a wanker.
