There's only one Conor McGregor, and there's no fighter better // And he's going to knock out Floyd Mayweather // So Floyd watch out cos the Irish are comin' // You can talk all you want, but you'll do nothin!

Just a small fraction of the lyrics from a catchy song all about the former UFC fighter who has recently turned his hand to boxing to take on one of the sport's greats.

As we all know by now, MMA legend, Conor 'Notorious' McGregor will take Floyd 'Money' Mayweather in Las Vegas on August 26.

For many, Mayweather will be the strong favourite - bookies have him at 1/5 (McGregor at 7/2) - but that doesn't stop a strong UFC backing, and a load of his homeland supporters, getting behind McGregor.

One man, Mick Konstantin, went viral this week with his dedication song to McGregor which had over 56,000 like and 36,000 shares.

"Just throwing up the yearly tune," Mick wrote on his Facebook page. "Thought I'd do one on Conor McGregor, and the fight coming up against Mayweather.

"Tried to get as many of his famous lines in as possible, so hope ye like it.

"And if anyone out there knows Conor personally, feel free to pass the song on to him, sound!"

Sound indeed, for Conor has now seen the video.

In an interview on Friday, McGregor told MMA Fighting: "It was one hell of a song. It's a very catchy song. We actually reached out to the guy.

"I had my people reach out to him and we're booking him a flight, him plus one. We're going to bring him over to the fight and get him tickets and put him up in a hotel and I'm going to meet him maybe after the fight. It's one hell of a song.

"I'm going to bring him in as a thank you for the support. What a song, it's the journey in music form.

"Myself and my team, we enjoyed it very much, so we're going to fly him out."

On his Facebook page, since McGregor's interview, Mick has confirmed that everything has been booked ready for August 26.

"Cannot even begin to thank himself and all his crew enough," Mick wrote. "They really are legends, and will never forget this gesture. Really is the stuff of dreams."

The song will also be released as a single and is expected to be available for download and streaming soon.
