'Baldscaping' Could Be The Next Viral Phenomenon And It's Superb

Welcome to baldscaping...

I am not bald and if you've ever seen my glorious head of hair, you'll know I am not worried about ever losing it. Baldness is not something that runs in my family.

Life is slightly different for 43-year-old Nick Marr who has lost all his hair. He's bald and he's proud. So proud in fact he's invented 'baldscaping' and hopes to make it a global phenomenon.

It all started rather accidentally when his selfie-taking skills weren't quite up to scratch and the only thing his friends could recognise from his pictures abroad were his bald head somewhere in the landscape of the picture.

And so baldscaping was born and it has actually grown a lot more than you'd imagine. The bald community is a strong community, a proud community and one that revels in taking pictures with their bald heads protruding into the image. Or so I've just learned.

"Fellow baldies follow my posts and upload their own baldscapes. I have a Facebook group with a 5000+ baldie following. It's a global thing and bald-headed guys from all over the world are submitting their baldscapes," Nick told us.

Nick, from London, is currently in charge of a Facebook group as well as Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest accounts all dedicated to baldscaping such has the phenomenon's growth been.

And it's not just bald men who are enjoying it so much...

Nick added: "Surprisingly I get a lot of messages from women fascinated by bald men, some want to stroke and feel my head and ask if it's actually an erogenous zone! I think baldscapes send a message of confidence and fun, both of which women love."

A keen traveler, Nick's own baldscapes have been taken all over the world including Brazil, Europe, the Caribbean, Asia and the UK and he's been sent baldscapes from as far and wide as Australia, the US and Malaysia.

"The versatility of baldscaping means there are no boundaries."

Those non-existant boundaries also include Nick's rap, all about being a rapper which he uploaded to YouTube with the caption including the fact that, 'famous rappers wore a clean head from DMX, TuPac to Rev Run'. And he's not wrong...

By day, Nick works in digital marketing and is the founder of various property websites which have helped him grow each of his social media accounts to the point they are at now. He's submitted the word 'baldscaping' to Urban Dictionary and is awaiting its inevitable inclusion sometime soon. Nick even hopes smartphones will one day have a 'baldscaping mode' - we can all dream bro.

Clearly, Nick has embraced his baldness and has some advice for guys that may be sweating at the prospect of losing their locks:

"My advice is not to be indecisive if you're a guy that is losing your hair. Most women don't care. Grab it by the balls and shave it off."

Sound advice, to be perfectly honest.

There you have it bald guys. I'm sure I don't need to be the one to tell you but embracing your dome is clearly far more beneficial than being insecure about it. And if you are still worried about hair loss, join the baldscaping community, Nick can definitely help you.
