It looks as if the former chief photographer for Barack Obama has taken to Instagram to troll President Trump to the high heavens judging by his recent posts.

Pete Souza's followers have clocked on to it too, claiming the account has kickstarted the most high-profile Throwback Thursday in all the years social media has been around.

His 824,000 followers have pointed out that Souza's uploads coincide with the signing of executive orders made out at the White House.

He made his first dig on January 29th after news broke that the new President had barred entry to the US from seven majority-Muslim countries.

Souza's response was to post an old photo of Obama laughing with a young Muslim refugee in 2015.

Following that, the photographer posted a picture of Obama meeting a six-year-old boy called Alex who sent the President a letter about Omran Daqneesh, the Syrian boy whose photo of him inside an emergency vehicle went viral.

Then he shared a picture of Obama drinking tequila with Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto the same day Trump told him over the phone that he would send troops to the border to take care of "bad hombres."

Did he stop there? Did he balls. Souza then uploaded a picture of Aussie prime minister Malcolm Turnball and Obama having a laugh last September in time with Trump's stroppy phone call with him.

Incredibly played from Souza, you have to admit.
