‘Game Of Thrones’ Enemies Spotted Watching Football Together And Fans Are Loving It

The rivalry.

It's weird enough seeing our beloved Game of Thrones cast members wearing jeans and t-shirts instead of their usual medieval warrior gear, but it's even weirder seeing those who we consider mortal enemies simply kicking back and watching a game together.

At the Sevilla v Barcelona game earlier this week, actors Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Pilou Asbæk (Euron Greyjoy), were pictured together enjoying the game.

Fans were quick to react to the awkward-looking screenshots, making jokes about the pairs on-screen relationship.

Some fans were a little more outraged. Greyjoy, who has kidnapped and threatened to kill members of his own family, and been known to cut off the tongues of his crew, all in loyal dedication to serving Cersei.

It doesn't make him the ideal candidate for 'cracking open a cold one with the boys' at a footie game.

Seeing Lannister by his side only makes it more shocking (seeing how badly we've seen them get on lately).

We can't deny, some of the snaps do look a little tense, maybe Jaime still hasn't quite gotten over Euron's comments about his sister, or his lack of right hand quite yet.

We have to admit though, thoughts also wonder to what the pair were doing in Sevilla (rather than King's Landing, obviously) and one fan cleverly pointed out that Sevilla is in fact the location where the scenes set in the fictional kingdom of Dorne are filmed.

It has led to speculation that some action might be returning to Dorne in the next season.

The pair will have plenty of time to sort out their differences however, with rumours circulating that the episodes of the eighth, and final, season of Game Of Thrones will be two hours long.

HBO programming president Casey Bloys told the Hollywood Reporter: "I imagine they'll be longer but ... I'm not sure how long.

"We haven't had that discussion yet because I don't know how long the episodes are going to be. Two hours per episode seems like it would be excessive, but it's a great show, so who knows?"
