Rupert Grint Keeps Getting Mistaken For Ed Sheeran

He plays along with it, too.

For some reason a lot of people are against gingers. They see them as different. As inferior. As orange.

But, CopperCab (remember him?), is here, and always will be, to tell you that they're not so different. That they're the same as everyone else. THAT THEY DO HAVE SOULS. THEY DO. FUCK YOU BITCHES, FO' REAL.

Anyway, two people who are proud gingers are Ed Sheeran and Rupert Grint, and the latter keeps getting mistook for the former.

Both have spoken about their hair colours in interviews in the past, saying that they like their hair and that the ribbing isn't too hurtful unless you're really sensitive.

Given Sheeran's current storming of the charts with a number of singles from his new album ÷ (Divide), he's very much at the forefront of poplar culture. So too is Rupert Grint, simply because people are mistaking him for the musician.

Back in 2011, following the release of Sheeran's debut album +, Grint starred in the video for 'LEGO House', acting as a fan who idolises and obsesses Ed, dressing like him and having similar hair.

Despite the fact Grint is mega famous and recognisable for his portrayal of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series, he can't seem to shake people who mistake him for Ed.

Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the actor revealed that there's a strong change he will be mistook.

"It's kind of 50/50 now," he told Corden. "If someone stops me, it could go either way. I could be Ed or I could be me.

"The singer Leo Sayer, he came up to me and said he loved my music - of course thinking I was Ed. I just play along."

To be fair, if you looked like Ed Sheeran, you'd pretend to be him too. He has everything at the moment. Even a LEGO house.
