Recently everyone was made aware of the world's sorest loser on Robot Wars.

The man (yes, fully grown man) was stood waiting with his team, Team Behemoth, as presenter Angela Scanlon revealed the judges' scores for the final battle.

He and his team were up against a group which was mainly made up of young kids and, when there was no clear winner in the final battle, it came down to the judges' decision. Unanimously, the judges went with the youngsters.

The sore loser then passes the remote control over to his teammate, then storms off in a huff.

Ant is the name of the disgruntled robot fanatic, and he's since explained his childish decision to walk off without congratulating a group of kids who managed to beat him.

He goes into some niche robotic bollocks about how attaching a 'grabber' for such a critical battle was a 'poor decision'. So he had his knickers in a twist with his team. Well, best thing to do, Ant, was to make a complete tit of yourself on national TV, pal.

Here he is explaining his motives...

"The reason I walked out there was because I was so annoyed at the team for making that decision not to go with a guaranteed win," he says. "Sometimes it's best for you to go with what you know works."

As much as I love Robot Wars, as I'm sure we all do - is this how serious people take it? I mean, I know he's probably spent a long time in his shed constructing that bot, but to react like that. Is that what he does when he plays Hungry Hippos with his kid?

People on social media couldn't get their heads around what they were seeing:

The kids don't seem arsed, though, and are happy enough to celebrate their win.

Come on Ant, mate. You're better than that.
