Remember way back when you made your first ever email address and it was something along the lines of [email protected] or [email protected]?
Then when you went to apply for a job you had to change that email address because unfortunately no employer in the country is going to invite you for an interview when your email is [email protected].
For 21-year-old Adam Simpson, his problem isn't so much with the email address; it's his Twitter handle.
The Scottish lad decided he'd use 'facial' as his Twitter handle. Little did he know it would mean his mentions would be chock-a-block with pornography.
"They've always crept up from time-to-time but it's become more regular," he told TheLADbible. "If it's not swingers parties, porn videos and general debauchery, it's advertisements for face cleaning products."
Thankfully for Adam, his Twitter handle hasn't caused him any issues with employment. As we all know, employers like to look at people's social media before offering a job to make sure they're not hiring a debauched Neo-Nazi psychopath.
Adam luckily is none of these things. Just a guy with an unfortunate Twitter handle.
