Nowadays it's becoming more and more common for police to appeal for witnesses, suspects and missing people on Facebook. Of course, this makes sense as that's where most of our attention goes these days.
Luckily, every now and again, a rather funny appeal will happen, causing a load of pictures of Michael Jackson eating popcorn to appear in the comments section.

Recently Nottinghamshire Police posted a missing person appeal, with the aim of tracking down Shane-Andrew Thompson, who, as it turns out, wasn't actually missing.
"Have you seen Shane-Andrew Thompson?," the post read. "Officers are concerned for his safety after he was reported missing from the Radford area at around 1pm on Saturday, October 22, 2016."
Luckily, to put an end to the missing rumours, Shane himself commented on the post, saying: "I'm not even missin'."
