Thousands of employers up and down the country receive CVs from prospective employees day in day out. I can only imagine it's an extremely monotonous task.
They'd be forgiven for perusing over a CV with all the bland corporate jargon they've read 300 times, barely giving it any attention.
In the case of IT & Marketing Manager Sam Best, he was going over one of those CVs when he glanced his eyes over... a URL to a porno.

The 27-year-old from Blackburn couldn't believe his eyes but knew exactly what had happened for this person to send in their CV with a porn link on it.
"When creating a CV, people will usually copy and paste any information with repetitive formatting. So if they're adding a new job role, they'll copy the previous one, paste it and change the information," Sam said.
"I have read some pretty bad CVs, some with terrible spelling n evn a cpl writtn in txt tlk. This CV definitely tops them all for the worst and most embarrassing fuck up!"
Apparently Sam did follow the link just to see what his potential interviewee was watching in his spare time/while applying for jobs.
"I didn't watch it all because staff were complaining about the noise. It could have been a lot worse though."
Sam is also toying with the idea of bringing the guy in just to see how he'd approach the situation, handing him back his CV with a porn link on it.
How I'd love to be a fly on the wall in that meeting.
Moral of the story: Check your CV. Then check it again. And again.
